Fishing Report for the Lake Almanor Basin and neighboring waters.
Alot of water this year should make an outstanding season!

Lake Almanor - the center piece of our waters. Trout, small and large mouth bass.
Lake surface temps are high 40's, lake is in great shape, very full. Trout are starting to bite on pond smelt and midges. Bass are off points and rock piles.
Butt Valley Reservoir - situated above Lake Almanor
Full and road is open power house is closed until end of May.
Eagle Lake - a popular destination for the famous Eagle Lake Trout.
Eagle Lake: Lake is coming up and Pine creek is running at high levels. Should be a good opener Memorial weekend.
Private Waters - Lassen Meadows - a private ranch minutes from the shop in Chester, CA. Special entrance fee and guiding required. Ideal for all experience anglers.
Upper Lakes -Snowded in.
Upper Feather River and Warner Creek- the beginning of our watershed with many feeder springs and streams. Early evening guiding avaialble.
Yellow Creek - A remote stream accessed from the West side of Lake Almanor.
Deer Creek Closed.
