Fishing Report 11/17/14

 

 

 

 

  • Lake Almanor: Lake is low and temps afe in low 50's; trout are around weed bed's. The public ramp at the Dam is open but you can only launch on the left side; the rest of the ramps don't have dock out and are to shallow. 
  • Butt Valley Res. Lake is low;  power house has been running on and off and somebig fish are present; Nymphs, wooly buggers and pondsmelt are working. Midge hatch in main lake.
  • Eagle Lake: Low water but  fish are in the shallows and fishing is very good. Wiggle tails, and streamers all work.
  • Susan River: Very low levels.   
  • North Fork of the Feather: Closed until end of May.
  • Warner Creek: Closed until end of May.
  • Deer Creek: Closed until end of April.  
  • Mill Creek: Closed until end of April.  
  • Hamilton Branch: Upper section closed until end of May but fish are in lower section were lake begins.
  • Yellow Creek: Closed until end of April.   
  • Goodrich Creek: Closed.   
  • Upper Lakes: Crater and Silver open until snow. 
  • Antelope Lake: Lake level is low but not bad and fishing well.
