  • Lake Almanor: Lake is starting to fish well with water temps warming. Rainbows are cruising eating midges and pond smelt; Browns have been on the east shore taking pond smelt. Smallmouth are off of points and drop off's.
    Butt Valley Res.: Is also picking up with Rainbows on Blood midge.  

  

  • Eagle Lake: Opens Memorial weekend.
  • Susan River: Opens last Saturday of April.  
  • North Fork of the Feather: Opens Memorial weekend.
  • Warner Creek: Open Memorial weekend.
  • Deer Creek: Opens last Saturday of April.  
  • Mill Creek: Opens last Saturday of April  
  • Hamilton Branch: Fish are in lower section by lake.
  • Yellow Creek: Opens last Saturday of April.   
  • Goodrich Creek: Opens last Saturday of April.   
  • Upper Lakes: No reports on Crater, Echo and Silver. 
  • Antelope Lake: Some fish being caught. 
  • Walker and Round Valley: Slow.
